The February 5th release of
Dear John (Sony pictures) booted the second highest grossing film of all time- Avatar, into 2nd place at the box office. $13.6 million was reeled in on the film's opening day, an astonishing accomplishment considering movie critics harshly critiqued the film.
Avatar has been the box office's reigning emperor for the past 7 weeks and is now sitting at #2. I Guess love really does conqueror all.
